Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve the availability, performance, and resilience of production environments.
- Define and evolve SLIs/SLOs, dashboards, metrics, and alerting mechanisms.
- Diagnose complex production incidents, support service recovery, and perform root cause analyses.
- Automate recurring operations and develop tools that reduce manual work and errors.
- Contribute to capacity management, backup, restore, and disaster recovery mechanisms.
- Provide Level 3 technical expertise to Project teams on delivery tools and processes for self-hosted clients.
- Collaborate with Project, Development, Platform, Cloud, DBA/DBRE, Architecture, and Security teams.
- Document interventions, maintain runbooks, and convert incident lessons into sustainable improvements.
Requirements
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in SRE, cloud operations, DevOps, or a similar technical role.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure environments, including networking, identity, and security concepts.
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, metrics, logs, and alerting mechanisms.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving complex incidents in production environments.
- Experience with automation and scripting.
- Understanding of resilience, high availability, backup, restore, and disaster recovery concepts.
- Ability to collaborate across technical teams and communicate clearly during incidents or complex technical situations.
- Strong organization, autonomy, sound judgment, prioritization, customer focus, and commitment to service improvement.
- Experience in a SaaS environment or hosting client solutions, SRE practices, SLIs/SLOs, incident management, Grafana or comparable observability tools, and software deployment or delivery tools is an asset.
