Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications, services, APIs, utilities, and automation across desktop, web, and cloud environments.
- Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, code review, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and software maintenance.
- Develop applications and services using C#, C++, and other programming or scripting languages.
- Support cloud applications and services using AWS and Azure.
- Develop unit, integration, and automated tests and resolve defects and complex technical issues.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, testing, code review, refactoring, troubleshooting, and documentation, while validating generated solutions.
- Contribute to software architecture and designs addressing scalability, reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Integrate development and delivery processes with Git, Perforce, automated pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL database technologies and Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, DevOps, product teams, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and share software development best practices with less-experienced developers.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of professional software development experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining production software.
- Strong proficiency in C# and/or C++ and understanding of object-oriented programming and modern software development practices.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles, object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, software architecture, and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience developing desktop and/or web applications, services, and APIs.
- Experience developing and deploying software in cloud environments, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Experience with unit, integration, and automated testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating AI-generated code and technical recommendations.
- Experience with CI/CD, build automation, version control systems such as Git and Perforce, and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL database technologies and their use in software applications.
- Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
