Responsibilities

Build and deploy scalable analytical systems and maintain their production environments and software.
Convert data science proof-of-concept models into production-ready applications using software engineering best practices.
Build data science applications for text-based search, audio recordings, and video recordings.
Use statistical modeling and A/B testing to evaluate algorithmic and model improvements.
Execute the technical roadmap for data science products and analyze findings to improve business systems.
Develop and optimize prompts for large language models and evaluate and fine-tune AI models for business applications.
Collaborate with teams to integrate and test data science and AI applications.
Document business objectives, data processing, algorithms, results, and analytical metrics.

Master’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or another engineering field.
At least 3 years of experience deploying advanced analytics solutions to drive business outcomes.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Ability to manage large data sets and develop data pipelines.
SQL programming skills and Python or R programming skills.
Knowledge of vector databases, embedding models, and LLM endpoints.
Prior cloud technology experience is a plus.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Hybrid work arrangement requiring onsite work at the Cottonwood Heights corporate office in Salt Lake City, Utah, three days per week.
Sedentary office-based work with limited lifting or walking and no exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
