Responsibilities
- Establish the overall application architecture vision and ensure components are appropriately designed and leveraged across a multi-product environment.
- Recommend and deliver technology solutions aligned with enterprise strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and architectures for strategic initiatives.
- Oversee technical and functional specifications, design reviews, testing, solution compatibility, and integration.
- Lead application system technology, architecture, and development efforts.
- Lead IT business transformation application architecture strategy and provide ongoing consulting and project direction.
- Own architectural standards, guidelines, principles, frameworks, and reference models.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into working production solutions from architecture and prototyping through integration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
- Guide FDEs and federated engineering partners while converting field delivery learnings into reusable enterprise capabilities.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, plus at least 11 years of experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
- Experience with multidimensional platforms and business and technical applications.
- Experience mentoring others, leading teams and complex technical projects, and providing troubleshooting support.
- Experience with multiple databases and/or programming languages.
- Hands-on technical leadership across AI, applications, APIs, data, cloud, and legacy platforms.
- Experience embedding security, privacy, compliance, evaluations, observability, human oversight, and reliability into production solutions.
- Experience developing reusable components, integration patterns, evaluation packs, development standards, and platform backlog enhancements.
