Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex PHP applications for backend systems.
- Extend existing PHP applications across ongoing platforms.
- Integrate internal and external systems and interfaces.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure the quality of new and existing products.
- Take ownership of subprojects and collaborate closely with other departments.
- Further develop the company’s extensive web presence.
- Document and implement requirements from business departments.
- Refactor legacy code and help transition to a modern architecture.
- Write and extend automated tests.
Requirements
- Professional experience developing web applications.
- Experience creating and integrating interfaces.
- Completed vocational training in a development-related field or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Zend, Slim, or Symfony.
- Very good knowledge of Linux and the Linux shell.
- Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, Jenkins, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Experience with or interest in implementing React applications is desirable.
- Fluent German and good English language skills.
- Independent, structured, collaborative, and proactive working style.
