Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery and ongoing support of software projects.
- Contribute to the design of new features for backend systems and services.
- Review peers’ code and promote standard engineering methodologies.
- Facilitate engineering discussions and mentor junior engineers.
- Help raise organization-wide standards for systems design, testing, code quality, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with a multifunctional engineering team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development experience with Java, Python, NodeJS, and Go for APIs and services.
- Experience with relational and non-relational database persistence strategies.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
- Authorization to work in Mexico.
- Strong skills with modern technologies for designing, delivering, debugging, and maintaining frontend and backend systems.
- Several years of recognized technical leadership and impact beyond the immediate team.
- Experience or transferable skills from non-traditional backgrounds are welcomed.
