Senior Backend Engineer (Milan)
Eight SleepResponsibilities
- Maintain and improve the integrity of a data processing pipeline handling approximately 5 TB per day.
- Develop tools that guarantee service availability across approximately 30 microservices and automate their operation.
- Contribute to backend services and product features.
- Design, implement, and support distributed systems connecting embedded, machine learning, mobile, and business intelligence systems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer or SRE.
- Advanced experience with at least two of Java, Scala, Kotlin, C#, F#, .NET Core, Python, or Node.js with TypeScript.
- Experience with distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of cloud services.
