Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot complex logs, infrastructure issues, and application problems.
- Develop and maintain APIs.
- Develop tools and scripts for automation.
- Debug and handle basic errors.
- Write complex SQL queries and manipulate and retrieve data from relational databases.
- Develop PL/SQL, database procedures, or similar database programming solutions.
- Use monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Graylog.
- Use Git for repository management, change tracking, and collaboration.
- Promote autonomous work, self-management, accountability, and proactive problem-solving among team members.
Requirements
- Knowledge of SQL for complex querying, manipulating, and retrieving data from relational databases.
- Knowledge of PL/SQL, database procedures, or a similar database programming language.
- Solid understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Graylog.
- Knowledge of Git and version control practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to evaluate data and models, identify biases, and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of Java development and Java microservices development.
- Knowledge of AWS.
- Knowledge of Python development.
- Knowledge of Bash or a similar scripting language.
- Knowledge of machine learning or implementing anomaly detection algorithms is a plus.
- Knowledge of OpenSearch and OpenSearch Dashboards is a plus.
