Responsibilities
- Develop, test, implement, document, maintain, and support software applications and systems.
- Work across front-end and back-end development, with the balance shifting based on feature requirements.
- Contribute to solution architecture deliverables, technical specifications, reference architecture adoption, and reusable assets.
- Partner with UX teams to build accessible and usable solutions that improve member experience.
- Troubleshoot on-premise, cloud-native, and hybrid applications; perform root-cause analysis and resolve defects.
- Recommend solutions, verify outcomes, optimize results, and support successful project or production objectives.
- Communicate updates to leadership and stakeholders while collaborating across Technology teams and business units.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field and at least one year of software development experience, or five or more years of related applicable experience.
- Experience with software development technologies such as Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, C++, .NET, Java, and SQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and technical solution development skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, build stakeholder relationships, collaborate with diverse teams, and coach or mentor team members.
- Ability to manage changing priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail and accountability.
- Preferred experience with the MEAN stack, AWS, GitHub Actions, Agile teams, and global staffing vendors.
- Eagerness to learn, stay current with industry trends, and continuously improve.
