Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases for low-level driver development.
- Develop tools and scripts to support test execution on and off target.
- Support board bring-up and manufacturing-line testing.
- Triage and maintain existing automation and testbeds.
- Automate repetitive manual test cases in collaboration with manual test engineers.
- Develop reliability-testing strategies for the hardware/software interaction layer.
- Develop API-testing strategies for the abstraction layer used by user-space applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Basic proficiency in C/C++.
- Basic understanding of digital electronics and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with low-level communication protocols such as I2C, PCIe, and USB.
- Understanding of Git as a source code management system.
- Experience using logic analyzers and other digital electronics test tools.
- Experience developing for Linux.
- Ability to work in English.
- Preferred: strong C/C++ development skills and Linux kernel development experience.
- Preferred: understanding of 802.11 networking or experience using Wireshark for network traffic analysis.
- Preferred: experience testing IoT or embedded systems, preferably in a Linux environment.
- Preferred: experience with Jenkins and familiarity with Python and Pytest.
- Preferred: interest in DIY IoT and robotics projects.
