Base Salary
$55k - $126k/yr
Responsibilities
- Clarify client objectives, constraints, and security or compliance boundaries with mission and technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to technical approaches, tradeoff analyses, solution designs, and implementation plans.
- Design, implement, test, and troubleshoot scripts, services, APIs, and automation, including appropriate AI/LLM-assisted workflows.
- Integrate systems and data using enterprise and cloud patterns and document technical, operational, and security-relevant considerations.
- Align work with RMF, control expectations, authorization requirements, secure engineering practices, version control, code reviews, and lightweight testing.
Requirements
- Have experience in a technical role in an academic or professional work environment.
- Have experience integrating an API or service or automating a repeatable workflow with authored or extended code.
- Have experience using Git in a professional, class, or internship context with reviewed work.
- Be able to write, test, and debug Python code.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-specialists and learn quickly in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Hold a Secret clearance.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a STEM field.
- Be able to obtain DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification within 30 days of hire.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AI/ML or LLM architectures, RAG, embeddings, vector search, orchestration, enterprise data platforms, model deployment, process transformation, model registries, and vector databases.
