Summer 2027 Intern - Software Engineer (Security/Government)
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Implement software solutions within team-defined designs and architecture.
- Contribute to product onboarding experiences, cloud-native services, and resilient infrastructure.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver highly available and security-compliant software services.
- Work on large-scale distributed systems supporting high-compliance environments.
- Participate in mentorship, engineering training, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Strong background in computer science or a related engineering discipline.
- Located in North America.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design, algorithms, data structures, and efficient implementation.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and practical coding ability.
- Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen operating on U.S. soil, must not hold dual citizenship, and must meet applicable customer and government screening standards.
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Justice Information Services screening with fingerprint scan, a Moderate Public Trust Minimum Background Investigation, and other required clearances.
- Preferred: coursework in SQL and relational database concepts.
- Preferred: proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
- Preferred: working knowledge of HTML and web technologies.
- Preferred: knowledge of front-end and back-end languages.
- Preferred: experience using telemetry and metrics to drive operational excellence.
- Preferred: strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, adaptability, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn.
