Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate new features and enhancements for the Security Gateway product.
- Ensure software scalability, reliability, and maintainability through corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Investigate, diagnose, and remediate software defects, anomalies, and cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain automation tools, scripts, and frameworks for build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Produce and maintain functional specifications, technical notes, test procedures, and other technical documentation.
- Design, execute, and maintain unit, integration, and system-level testing.
- Lead product integration efforts and collaborate with software engineers, system architects, and cybersecurity specialists.
- Deliver project objectives while meeting Quality, Cost, and Delivery commitments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in software development, automated testing development, or related engineering roles.
- Proficiency in, or strong interest in developing with, PHP, Python, Rust, and Bash/Shell scripting.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools, preferably GitLab CI.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including system administration, service management, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Good understanding of networking technologies and cybersecurity principles.
- Knowledge of FreeBSD is considered an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a regulated industrial environment focused on cybersecurity, reliability, and compliance.
