Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, scalable production software solutions.
- Review and debug code written by other engineers while establishing standards for secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
- Lead the team’s adoption and validation of approved AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Identify recurring issues and opportunities to automate remediation to improve application and system stability.
- Lead technical evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams concerning architecture, technical capabilities, and integration applicability.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development, AWS, Kubernetes, and practical cloud-native engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience leading responsible use of AI-assisted software development tools and validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Advanced understanding of agile software delivery practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred: IAM knowledge, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, IAM or related security certification, and ForgeRock or Ping Identity experience.
