Lead Software Engineer- Java Full Stack
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, scalable production software solutions.
- Review and debug code written by other engineers and promote high-quality engineering standards.
- Lead adoption and validation of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for coding, code review, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Establish secure coding, peer review, automated testing, and responsible AI-use practices across the team.
- Identify and automate recurring issue remediation to improve application and system stability.
- Lead evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams regarding architecture, technical capabilities, and system applicability.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Java full-stack development.
- Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and practical cloud-native engineering.
- Preferred familiarity with IAM concepts and technologies, including OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
- Preferred IAM or related security certification and experience with ForgeRock or Ping Identity.
