Base Salary
$126k - $223k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend infrastructure and data-processing pipelines for storing and serving map data.
- Support the Aurora Atlas static mapping system and Fleet Share dynamic data delivery system as the Aurora Driver expands to more commercial routes.
- Establish robust testing practices and optimize performance to ensure Atlas stability and scalability.
- Partner with internal and external customers to influence current and future designs and features.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building server-side and data-processing systems.
- Deep understanding of distributed-systems principles and demonstrated ability to deliver scalable, reliable backend systems.
- Experience writing and maintaining production-level software in C++ or Go.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies such as AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.
- Commitment to writing robust, testable, production-ready code.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with geospatial data, mapping systems, or high-throughput data pipelines is desirable.
