Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of AOCS/GNC subsystems for spacecraft and missions.
- Develop, test, and validate GNC algorithms.
- Implement and test GNC software within the Flight Software framework.
- Develop and maintain spacecraft simulation environments and six-degree-of-freedom models.
- Support performance analysis, trade studies, and mission assessments.
- Participate in verification and validation activities, including simulation campaigns, unit testing, and Software-in-the-Loop testing.
- Support hardware modeling, integration, and performance evaluation.
- Develop software tools that automate analysis, testing, and reporting.
- Analyze simulation and test results and document findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and participate in technical discussions and reviews.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BSc or MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering, Robotics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of dynamics, orbital mechanics, flight mechanics, or control systems.
- Experience programming in C++ and Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Good communication skills and fluency in English.
- German or French language skills are considered an asset.
- Interest in advancing the commercial space industry and working in a fast-paced, innovative, collaborative startup environment.
