Responsibilities
- Design and develop Pega applications to optimize client business processes.
- Lead and support small-to-medium teams of Pega developers.
- Participate in architecture, design, development, QA, deployment, performance tuning, and application support.
- Develop expertise in case management, class structures, integrations, security models, reporting, process flows, rules, data pages, listeners, schedulers, and queue processors.
- Build technical assets and accelerators and maintain high-quality technical documentation and unit test cases.
- Maintain productive relationships with clients and onsite personnel and provide delivery status updates.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and ensure allocated work is delivered on time.
- Support cross-skilling, cross-training, and organization-wide people initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of Pega application development experience using the Pega Development platform.
- Completion of at least 3–4 end-to-end Pega project implementations.
- Hands-on experience with Case Management, Class Structure Design, Pega Integrations, RBAC and ABAC security models, reporting, process flows, decision and declarative rules, data pages, file and email listeners, job schedulers, and queue processors.
- Knowledge of Pega UI/UX and portal development, REST and SOAP APIs, application performance tuning, Pega best practices, and guardrail improvement techniques.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases and PL/SQL.
- Experience handling a small or medium team of Pega developers.
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, reporting, and client relationship skills.
- Working knowledge of project implementation methodologies.
- Knowledge of Java/J2EE is a plus.
- Pega CSA, CSSA, or CLSA certifications are valuable, with Pega CSSA/CLSA 7.x/8.x certification preferred.
- A B.Sc., M.Sc., B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunications, or Computer Science, or an MCA is listed as desirable.
- Experience with Pega frameworks such as CDH, CLM, CRM, or SD is advantageous.
- Exposure to Pega Deployment Manager, Pega Constellation, and React.js is advantageous.
