Responsibilities
- Write and maintain web service APIs in Python and optionally Golang for CLI and web frontend clients
- Design and implement features and enhancements from specification through production and ongoing operations at scale
- Help scale production architecture and expand software delivery capabilities for marketplace, IoT, and enterprise use cases
- Review code and technical designs produced by other engineers
- Collaborate remotely with a globally distributed team to develop effective technical solutions
Requirements
- Demonstrated professional proficiency developing public-facing APIs and web applications with Python
- Broad technology knowledge with a preference for backend code and infrastructure
- Ability to design performant data models and tune queries across relational and non-relational databases
- Comfort using Ubuntu as a development and deployment platform
- Strong academic performance in Computer Science, STEM, or a similar degree
- Strong collaboration, communication, flexibility, accountability, and self-motivation
