Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve eBay’s Spring Boot-based Java framework for thousands of internal applications.
- Develop AI-powered solutions for platform engineering problems.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Tekton.
- Coordinate software releases, dependencies, and roadmap alignment across multiple teams.
- Build and maintain Docker images, conduct vulnerability scans, and manage image repositories and registries.
- Set up and maintain development, staging, and production environments and monitor system performance.
- Maintain platform security and compliance through image patching, sensitive-data handling, and audit logging.
- Create developer documentation, best practices, and guides while collaborating with QA and operations teams.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong expertise in Maven and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Tekton or similar CI/CD tools.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Git and branching strategies.
- Ability and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
