Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own security across the stack including applications, services, and infrastructure.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks in infrastructure and application codebases.
- Lead secure code reviews, architecture discussions, and threat modeling sessions.
- Build tooling and automations to prevent security issues before they reach production.
- Harden authentication and access control across internal and external surfaces.
- Partner with engineers to design secure-by-default APIs and workflows.
- Investigate vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a software engineer with an interest in security engineering.
- Experience leading or contributing to security engineering efforts across applications and infrastructure.
- Ability to analyze systems for weaknesses in business logic, configuration, or code.
- Familiarity with threat modeling, secure coding practices, and vulnerability management.
- Experience with CI/CD systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and containerized environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
