QA Engineer - Core Database (remote)

Responsibilities
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks and automated test cases.
- Validate new features and ensure smooth production releases.
- Test cross-functional implementations across internal ClickHouse teams.
- Implement testing strategies and automation for large, complex distributed systems.
- Evaluate ClickHouse functionality for each release and identify codebase improvement opportunities.
- Engineer and improve existing testing infrastructure.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of SQL.
- Experience in an SDET, release engineering, or QA role involving a classical database or distributed system.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Go, or C++.
- Ability to read C++ code for validation.
- Working knowledge of Git, Linux, and shell scripting.
- Experience with both manual testing and automated testing.
- Strong production debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and ability to learn complex technology quickly.
