Responsibilities
- Architect scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and high-performance BigQuery data warehouses using advanced modeling, partitioning, and clustering.
- Implement real-time Pub/Sub and Dataflow pipelines as well as batch-processing solutions.
- Build MLOps pipelines and orchestrate LLM and agentic workflows using LangChain, Agent Platform, Pandas, and Airflow.
- Develop operational interfaces and analytical dashboards with Google Apps Script, JavaScript, React, and Looker Studio.
- Establish automated data-quality testing, lineage tracking, and proactive monitoring.
- Enforce IAM policies, encryption, and data compliance standards across enterprise data assets.
- Tune query execution, pipeline performance, and storage usage to control cloud costs.
- Serve as the senior L3 escalation authority for GCP and BigQuery issues, leading root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Conduct architecture reviews, manage cloud-service deprecations, and align solutions with enterprise security standards.
- Deliver projects using Agile/Kanban practices, Jira, and GitHub version-control standards.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, ETL processes, AI/ML applications, MLOps, and GCP.
- Deep proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services and governance tools; familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Alibaba Cloud is preferred.
- Advanced Python, Linux shell scripting, Google Apps Script/JavaScript, FastAPI, Django REST Framework, Pandas, and LangChain experience.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firestore, and BigQuery.
- Experience with Cloud Run, Cloud Run Functions, containers, and registries.
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Cloud Build.
- Linux command-line proficiency and experience with Jira, Kanban, Looker Studio, REST APIs, XML, and L3 incident response/root-cause analysis.
