Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases for software applications.
- Identify, record, reproduce, and track bugs and defects and help investigate root causes.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Participate in requirements gathering and provide product-quality feedback to developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and recommend improvements to testing processes.
- Assist with developing automation testing scripts where applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably in software development.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Experience designing and executing test cases and using bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium or Cypress is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
