Responsibilities
- Define and own Enterprise Scheduling solution architecture, including functional design, data structures, constraint models, integrations, and system behavior.
- Serve as the primary solution architect for Enterprise Scheduling-only implementations and align with broader end-to-end solution architecture.
- Facilitate scheduling blueprint sessions covering heuristics, dispatch rules, look-ahead behavior, changeover logic, and constraint-resolution strategies.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, troubleshoot scheduling behavior, and resolve data configuration issues through root-cause analysis.
- Provide functional leadership and implementation support for complex supply chain challenges.
- Mentor and provide technical oversight to consultants and partners on solution quality, implementation methods, architecture patterns, and deployment practices.
- Collaborate with Product teams on feature gaps, capability extensions, architectural guidance, and roadmap discussions.
- Support services sales opportunities by explaining solution approaches and value to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, operations research, computer science, computer engineering, statistics, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of broad experience in software implementation consulting in supply chain planning or supply chain execution.
- At least 3 years of experience as a solution architect or lead functional consultant on enterprise-scale supply chain transformation projects.
- Subject matter expertise in supply chain concepts and best practices, with in-depth experience using supply chain solutions and scheduling applications such as OMP, SAP PPDS, Blue Yonder, or o9 Production Scheduling.
- Experience producing detailed blueprints that translate scheduling requirements into technical specifications.
- Technical leadership experience in data integration, data management, system configuration, and system deployment for supply chain software implementations.
- Proficiency with SQL, JavaScript, or scripting languages used in solution configuration.
- Strong facilitation, communication, problem-solving, critical-thinking, interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50% to 75% annually.
