Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, maintain, and test reliable, scalable, secure infrastructure solutions for cyber-recovery capabilities.
- Diagnose Windows and Linux kernel-level bugs and issues and work with advanced storage I/O subsystems.
- Create infrastructure as code using Python and drive automation to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, manage incidents, identify vulnerabilities and outages, and reduce mean time to resolution.
- Prototype recovery technologies in an engineering lab and collaborate with delivery teams, end users, stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Provide subject matter expertise for complex recovery scenarios, lead technology and ways-of-working transformation, and mentor team members on DevOps and infrastructure best practices.
- Manage infrastructure risks and controls and contribute to strategic technology decisions and requirements.
Requirements
- Advanced experience with Windows or Linux.
- Ability to diagnose Windows or Linux kernel-level bugs and issues.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows or Linux storage I/O subsystems.
- Ability to create infrastructure as code using Python.
- Experience with backup and recovery is desirable.
- Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Kubernetes is desirable.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, guide less experienced specialists, collaborate across functions, and advise stakeholders on complex infrastructure and recovery matters.
