Base Salary
$155k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, solution design, and validation throughout enterprise sales cycles.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor by mapping Workato capabilities and value propositions to enterprise business objectives.
- Partner with Account Executives, Customer Success, Professional Services, and cross-functional teams to complete technical sales stages.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations, technical workshops, and in-depth proofs of concept in person or remotely.
- Architect integration patterns, automation workflows, and AI-powered orchestration solutions across applications, data sources, and business processes.
- Educate technical and executive audiences on agentic AI, MCP connectivity, AI operationalization, and enterprise architecture concepts.
- Help new customers achieve First Value and ensure smooth handoffs to post-sales teams.
- Respond to functional and technical RFIs and RFPs.
- Collect and analyze field feedback and communicate product insights to Product Management and Engineering.
- Represent and evangelize Workato at conferences, seminars, user groups, partner events, webinars, and industry events.
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent education is required, with Computer Science preferred.
- 5–7 years of pre-sales or solutions architecture experience in a SaaS organization is required.
- Hands-on experience with iPaaS, enterprise integration, automation technologies, middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services, enterprise messaging, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM, and databases is required.
- Experience with cloud technologies and enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, HCM, ITSM, and collaboration platforms is required.
- Experience working with Enterprise and Fortune 1000 customers through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles is required.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, chain-of-thought reasoning, MCP, AI agents, and generative AI use cases is required.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming, scripting, JSON, XML, HTTP, and GraphQL is required.
- Ability to map technical solutions to business outcomes across IT, Finance, HR, RevOps, and Security & Compliance is required.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, leadership, prioritization, collaboration, and customer-success skills are required.
