Responsibilities
- Design, train, and improve search models
- Gather high-quality retrieval datasets and optimize data pipelines for model training and evaluation
- Collaborate with the model-serving team to ensure fast and stable inference
- Work with product teams to develop search solutions
- Collaborate with partner organizations and academic affiliates on research and publish in top-tier conferences and journals
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and machine-learning frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, TF-Serving, JAX, and XLA/MLIR
- Familiarity with training and using information-retrieval models
- Experience leveraging large language models in training-data or evaluation pipelines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience building training or evaluation datasets for practical use cases is preferred
- Proficiency in C++ or Golang is preferred
- Experience with large-scale distributed training strategies using GPUs is preferred
