Responsibilities
- Design moderately complex software applications and components and assist with larger system designs.
- Create design views addressing stakeholder concerns, functional and non-functional requirements, and security.
- Code, verify, test, document, amend, and refactor software programs and scripts.
- Monitor development progress, identify issues, and propose practical solutions.
- Support planning, scheduling, and coordination of software releases.
- Participate in testing and quality assurance activities.
- Document and report release outcomes and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate on reviews, evaluate options and trade-offs, and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in relevant software engineering roles.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Python and C++.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues, customers, and partners and understand user needs.
- Ability to resolve diverse and complex issues and contribute to creative problem-solving.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to apply appropriate methods and digital skills.
- Proactive learning mindset and adherence to security, privacy, and ethical practices.
- Comprehensive industry knowledge and understanding of business context.
- Ability to apply, share, and absorb technical knowledge.
