Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, and support embedded peripheral device drivers across RTOS and Linux environments.
- Resolve driver issues reported by internal test teams and customers.
- Develop drivers for 1-Wire, I2C, SPI, UART, and PCIe protocols.
- Develop drivers for multiprocessor and multithreaded ASIC platforms.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create embedded software specifications.
- Document software design, development, and testing processes for future maintenance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with embedded systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 4+ years of related experience; or a master's degree with 3+ years; or a PhD with 2+ years.
- 2+ years of work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Proficiency in C and experience designing and developing drivers for RTOS or other embedded operating systems.
- Understanding of microprocessor and multiprocessor architecture, real-time and embedded programming, and RTOS concepts.
- Experience with multiprocessor and multithreaded ASIC platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
