Base Salary
$271k - $347k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive team goals and technical direction to improve organizational efficiency.
- Communicate complex features and systems in detail across teams and functions.
- Assess and develop new technologies based on industry and company-wide trends.
- Partner with organizational leaders to improve team and organizational performance.
- Identify opportunities and influence staffing and prioritization decisions.
- Lead long-term technical vision and roadmaps for large cross-company efforts.
- Gather and synthesize requirements and create effective feature roadmaps.
- Mentor and influence engineers across organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ years of coding experience in C, C++, Java, and/or C#.
- 12+ years of experience building server applications and systems.
- Experience driving large cross-functional or industry-wide engineering efforts.
- Track record of planning multi-year roadmaps connecting short-term projects to long-term vision.
- Experience leading projects with industry-wide impact.
- Significant experience mentoring and influencing engineers across organizations.
- Extensive experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions.
- Preferred experience with operating system internals, file systems, programming language design, or compilers.
- Preferred experience integrating AI tools into workflows and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices.
- Preferred ongoing AI skill development, including prompt/context engineering and agent orchestration.
- Preferred 5+ years of experience building AI/ML applications and developing ML systems.
Benefits
- Base salary of $271,000/year to $347,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
