Responsibilities
- Develop, document, test, and maintain software applications for embedded Linux environments.
- Participate in code reviews and software design and architecture discussions.
- Improve and support continuous integration processes for build efficiency and deployment automation.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform debugging, and improve software performance with global engineering teams.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of new embedded products and software platforms.
- Implement reliable, reusable, and maintainable software solutions.
- Integrate software with internally developed hardware platforms and programmable controllers.
- Translate business and technical requirements into software solutions and designs.
- Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and validation records.
- Support continuous improvement of software development processes, tools, and product innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of C and embedded software development principles.
- Experience developing software in embedded Linux environments.
- Knowledge of multithreaded programming and inter-process communication.
- Understanding of Linux kernel architecture and device drivers.
- Experience with Git version control systems.
- Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions and software designs.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and secure software development practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Advanced written and verbal English skills.
- Preferred: experience with Yocto, Buildroot, Rust, Zephyr or other real-time operating systems, and industrial protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, or MQTT.
- Preferred: experience contributing to embedded product architecture decisions and working in international, distributed development environments.
