Responsibilities
- Modify and enhance the Chromium engine to support new features.
- Use advanced data structures and algorithms in C++.
- Research optimization algorithms and improve performance.
- Solve complex problems with quick and elegant solutions.
- Contribute to secure enterprise browser functionality using distributed systems, scalability, high availability, containerization, and advanced analytics.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Chromium environments.
- Strong C++ design and software implementation skills.
- Excellent debugging, memory profiling, and performance testing skills.
- Experience with multithreaded programming and synchronization techniques.
- Understanding of memory management and runtime optimization.
- Experience developing complex products with many components.
- Knowledge of unit testing; TDD experience is a plus.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and encourage team members’ growth and career progression.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- BSCS or equivalent required; MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Ability to respond proactively and promptly to customer needs.
