Responsibilities
- Design and build application architecture using Flask APIs and FastAPI microservices.
- Manage the agentic coding pipeline, creating and reviewing GitHub Issues and merging pull requests.
- Extend the data pipeline and design new analytics for improved data quality.
- Implement test-driven development by writing pytest spec suites.
- Integrate Claude API for content generation and analysis features.
- Develop UX and visualization components using Plotly and React.
- Maintain architecture documentation and keep Confluence updated.
- Identify gaps in intelligence coverage and propose new internal tools.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of Python backend development experience with Flask or FastAPI.
- Strong data skills including pandas, SQL, and data modeling.
- Experience with LLM APIs in a production environment.
- A test-first mindset with a focus on writing tests before code.
- Excellent written communication skills for clear requirement specifications.
- Ability to critically review AI-generated code and make informed decisions.
- Experience with REST API design and documentation.
