Responsibilities
- Lead the AIOps platform initiative and serve as the primary technical liaison to Network Engineering, ServiceNow, and SolarWinds administration teams.
- Architect closed-loop remediation workflows integrating Splunk ITSI with ServiceNow Event Management and Incident Management.
- Architect and maintain Splunk AIOps solutions across unclassified and classified enclaves.
- Normalize and correlate SolarWinds network data with server and application logs for enterprise observability.
- Build, test, and tune supervised and unsupervised machine learning models using Splunk MLTK.
- Engineer secure telemetry ingestion pipelines from cross-domain solutions and tactical edge devices.
- Correlate multi-source events with ITSI to reduce alert noise and prioritize mission-impacting incidents.
- Integrate AIOps insights into defensive cyber operations with the CSSP.
- Ensure observability tools comply with DoW STIGs and IL5/IL6 protocols and maintain architectural and compliance documentation.
- Lead technical working groups and direct adjacent infrastructure and development teams.
- Present designs, plans, and analyses of alternatives to technical leadership boards.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is required at hire.
- United States citizenship is required.
- Active IAT Level II certification is required, such as Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, or SSCP.
- At least 7 years of experience with Splunk Enterprise, including architecture, cluster management, and advanced SPL.
- At least 3 years of experience implementing AIOps workflows integrated with enterprise ITSM solutions such as ServiceNow.
- Demonstrated experience building, testing, and tuning supervised and unsupervised models in Splunk MLTK.
- Advanced scripting skills for custom search commands, API integrations, and automated remediation, such as Python.
- Experience leading technical working groups and directing infrastructure and development teams.
- Experience in a DoW/DoD operations center or supporting mission-critical systems and networks.
- Ability to present technical designs, plans, and analyses to leadership boards.
- Preferred experience aggregating telemetry from SolarWinds, ServiceNow, and VMware vCenter.
- Preferred Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect or Splunk ITSI Certified Admin certification.
- Preferred experience with CNCF observability tools in secure hybrid multi-cloud environments using Azure or AWS.
- Preferred understanding of RMF and ATO processes for AI/ML workloads.
