Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve integration solutions across complex business systems and applications.
- Develop multi-layered applications using C# .NET, WebAPI, SQL Server, and modern web technologies.
- Build and support web services, APIs, message queues, and mainframe integrations.
- Analyse and reverse engineer SSIS packages, legacy integrations, and .NET applications.
- Develop and maintain solutions using InterSystems IRIS and ObjectScript.
- Create database scripts, application components, and integration workflows.
- Develop web applications using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, quality assurance, technical documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and project teams on requirements, architecture, solution design, and delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience developing multi-layered applications with C# .NET, web applications, and SQL Server.
- Strong experience with web services, APIs, message queues such as IBM MQ, or mainframe integration.
- Proficiency with .NET MVC, WebAPI, or ServiceStack.
- Experience with Git, Mercurial, or Subversion version control systems.
- Experience with unit testing tools such as NUnit.
- Experience with issue tracking and project management tools such as JIRA.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Understanding of technical architecture, application development, and integration design principles.
- Experience with InterSystems IRIS or ObjectScript, or the ability to learn new integration technologies quickly.
- Experience with relational database design using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
- Exposure to Master Data Management, Tibco MDM, SSIS, WPF, or Entity Framework is highly regarded.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder engagement, collaboration, prioritisation, and accountability skills.
