Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain tools, libraries and infrastructure for developer productivity.
- Collaborate with mobile engineers to understand workflows and pain points.
- Contribute to and improve build, CI/CD and test automation systems.
- Work with stakeholders to prioritize work and ensure integration into existing workflows.
- Own projects from problem discovery through implementation and operation.
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions to maintain code quality.
- Mentor other engineers in build, test and release best practices.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with backend systems and Android/mobile or embedded development.
- Experience designing, implementing and maintaining production systems or developer tooling.
- Understanding of building scalable, reliable and observable services.
- Experience owning projects from design through implementation and support.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
