Senior Backend Engineer, Cashalo

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust .NET and C# backend services and APIs for Cashalo’s lending products.
- Design and optimize SQL Server data models and queries.
- Own features end-to-end from requirements through deployment in collaboration with product and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to platform reliability, observability, and deployment practices on Azure.
- Collaborate with engineers across the US, India, and the wider Tilt group on architecture and engineering practices.
- Support team quality through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with .NET and C# for production-grade backend systems.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, including relational data modeling, query optimization, and schema management.
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud services, including App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Blob Storage.
- Strong fundamentals in designing and consuming REST APIs.
- A product-oriented mindset focused on solving user and business problems.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving, lean team.
- Fintech or lending experience is a plus.
