Base Salary
$140k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core platform services in C++ with emphasis on multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Develop and extend communication middleware using SOME/IP, DDS, Protobuf, or gRPC.
- Work within AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform functional clusters including Adaptive Platform Core, Communication Management, Execution Management, State Management, Diagnostics, and Health Management.
- Apply Ethernet networking expertise to support reliable, high-throughput data exchange in vehicles.
- Design system-management functions such as Health Management and Diagnostics for the software-defined vehicle architecture.
- Take ownership of technical decisions and contribute to robust, production-quality software.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience shipping complex production software, ideally in embedded, automotive, or robotics domains.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong C++ expertise, including multithreading, mutexes, and design patterns.
- Experience with communication middleware such as SOME/IP or DDS.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts built on the Ethernet stack.
- Experience with embedded systems and C is preferred.
- Expertise in one or more AUTOSAR Adaptive functional clusters is preferred.
- Experience with inter-process communication mechanisms such as Protobuf or gRPC is preferred.
- Strong POSIX operating system and Linux knowledge, including system calls, runtime behavior, and memory management, is preferred.
- Experience with real-time or safety-critical distributed systems is preferred.
