Base Salary
$140k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core platform services in C++ with an emphasis on multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Develop and extend communication middleware using protocols such as SOME/IP and DDS, with Protobuf or gRPC as potential additional technologies.
- Work with AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform functional clusters, including Core, Communication Management, Execution Management, and State Management.
- Apply networking and Ethernet expertise to support reliable, high-throughput data exchange in vehicles.
- Design system management functions such as Health Management and Diagnostics within the software-defined vehicle architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience shipping complex production software.
- Strong C++ expertise, including multithreading, mutexes, and design patterns.
- Experience with communication middleware such as SOME/IP or DDS.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts based on the Ethernet stack.
- Preferred experience with embedded systems and C programming.
- Preferred expertise in AUTOSAR Adaptive functional clusters, including Adaptive Platform Core, Communication Management, Execution Management, Diagnostics, or Health Management.
- Preferred experience with IPC mechanisms such as Protobuf or gRPC.
- Preferred familiarity with POSIX operating systems, including Linux system calls, runtime behavior, and memory management.
- Experience with real-time or safety-critical distributed systems is preferred.
