Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, low-latency C++ software for critical defense applications, systems, and infrastructure.
- Engineer efficient, scalable solutions for complex algorithmic, memory-management, and real-time processing challenges.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, systems engineers, and other software disciplines to integrate C++ components.
- Debug, test, and profile C++ code to resolve performance bottlenecks and improve reliability and stability.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle from architecture and implementation through testing and deployment.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience developing complex, high-performance software with modern C++.
- Strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or physics.
- Demonstrated ability to design performant software with efficient resource management.
- Ability to rapidly understand and contribute to large, mature C++ codebases and complex system architectures.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
- Passion for building mission-critical software with real-world impact.
