Responsibilities
- Build and improve software that helps engineers review code, automate repetitive work, and deliver changes efficiently.
- Develop backend services, APIs, webhook integrations, and automation using Go or Python.
- Integrate AI and LLM capabilities into developer tools, including code-review suggestions and change summaries.
- Develop prompts, structured inputs and outputs, guardrails, and evaluation examples for dependable AI features.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot issues across development and CI/CD environments.
- Use GitLab APIs, webhooks, and developer-tool integrations to connect products with software-development workflows.
- Monitor feedback, usage signals, and evaluation results to identify improvements.
- Apply DevOps practices including containers, CI/CD, observability, and safe deployment.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to two years of experience are welcome to apply.
- Basic software-development skills in a modern programming language, preferably Go or Python.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and AI/LLM applications in software development.
- Basic understanding of APIs, Git, HTTP, and common data formats such as JSON.
- Willingness to learn prompts, AI evaluations, responsible AI practices, and LLM application integration.
- Basic knowledge of Bash, Git, Docker, testing, and CI/CD concepts.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate, learn from feedback, and explain technical ideas clearly.
- Preferred experience includes LLM APIs, AI SDKs, chatbot frameworks, prompt engineering, RAG, tool calling, and evaluation of AI-generated output.
- Preferred experience includes GitLab or GitHub APIs and webhooks, CI/CD pipelines, configuration as code, automation scripts, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services, monitoring, Terraform, Ansible, web services, databases, or front-end development.
