Base Salary
$156k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver complex features and services for Slate’s digital platform.
- Develop reliable, scalable web services and APIs and integrate third-party services through APIs, events, or webhooks.
- Own end-to-end quality, including unit, functional, and integration tests.
- Make technical decisions and trade-offs, identify risks, and provide code and design reviews.
- Collaborate with UX and product teams to translate customer needs into solutions.
- Coordinate work across teams and mentor and support colleagues.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience building customer-facing software systems.
- Experience owning the design and delivery of complex features or services and making sound technical trade-offs.
- Experience building reliable, scalable web services and APIs, with working knowledge of cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to solve complex problems, simplify where possible, and deliver high-quality work with minimal direction.
- Experience integrating third-party services through APIs, events, or webhooks.
- Experience with ecommerce or marketplace systems is a plus.
