Base Salary
$160k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable identity and access control services across thousands of applications and systems.
- Implement high-performance, fault-tolerant services managing identities, roles, policies, and entitlements.
- Automate management of credentials, secrets, and privileged accounts across Linux, Windows, macOS, cloud, and on-premises environments.
- Integrate Teleport, CyberArk, and other PAM technologies with Bloomberg’s internal platforms.
- Collaborate with Platform Security, Infrastructure Engineering, and Compliance teams on robust and auditable solutions.
- Lead architectural and design discussions, mentor junior engineers, and champion secure software development and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java.
- Deep understanding of OAuth2, SAML, OIDC, RBAC, and ABAC authentication and authorization concepts.
- Experience building distributed, highly available solutions targeting 99.9999% uptime.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code principles, such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Preferred: knowledge of cryptography, secrets management, credential rotation, secure remote access, privileged task execution, PAM platforms, operating-system security controls, and enterprise identity governance and compliance.

- Annual salary range of $160,000 to $240,000 USD, plus benefits and bonus.
