Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain virtualized infrastructure using VMware.
- Implement and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud environments.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Create infrastructure-as-code solutions and automate routine operational tasks.
- Deploy, manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise-scale VMware environments using VMware PowerCLI.
- Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Configure and manage Dell OpenManage Enterprise environments, firmware baselines, BIOS configuration templates, rack servers, MX chassis, and blade systems.
- Ensure hardware compliance and optimal performance.
Requirements
- VMware certification and hands-on deployment experience at scale.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with VMware PowerCLI and Dell OpenManage Enterprise.
- Experience managing Dell rack servers, MX chassis, and blade systems.
- Experience with GitLab version control.
- Preferred: VMware VCP or VCAP certifications, CI/CD pipeline implementation, infrastructure monitoring and logging, and large-scale enterprise environments.
