Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of emerging Wi-Fi standards, including potential work related to Wi-Fi 8 and Wi-Fi 9.
- Develop and optimize open-source wireless drivers and kernel-space components.
- Improve and harden hostap implementations for carrier-grade stability.
- Collect and analyze performance data to guide architectural improvements.
- Use AI-based development tools to accelerate design, prototyping, and testing.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong academic record.
- Proven proficiency in C/C++.
- Foundational knowledge of computer networking.
- Preferred experience with Linux kernel development or driver architecture.
- Preferred familiarity with 802.11 standards and Wi-Fi functionality.
- Preferred experience with network protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark.
- Preferred experience with version control systems such as Git and Gerrit.
