Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of emerging Wi-Fi standards, including potential work related to Wi-Fi 8 and Wi-Fi 9.
  • Develop and optimize open-source wireless drivers and kernel-space components.
  • Improve and harden hostap implementations for carrier-grade stability.
  • Collect and analyze performance data to guide architectural improvements.
  • Use AI-based development tools to accelerate design, prototyping, and testing.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong academic record.
  • Proven proficiency in C/C++.
  • Foundational knowledge of computer networking.
  • Preferred experience with Linux kernel development or driver architecture.
  • Preferred familiarity with 802.11 standards and Wi-Fi functionality.
  • Preferred experience with network protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark.
  • Preferred experience with version control systems such as Git and Gerrit.
