Responsibilities
- Break larger projects into tasks, deliver them in phases, and collaborate with teammates to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics on ideation, technical constraints, risks, trade-offs, and product decisions.
- Create and monitor metrics, escalate issues when needed, and support operational, availability, keep-the-lights-on, and on-call efforts.
- Participate in team growth and development activities, including interviewing.
- Build, ship, and operate Direct-to-Consumer products for international markets.
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience shipping web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages such as Python or Kotlin.
- Ability to turn business problems into solutions spanning multiple software components and write clear, tested, extensible code.
- Comfort navigating large codebases, debugging code, and providing code review feedback.
- Evidence of ownership of professional growth and proactive feedback seeking.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
