Base Salary
$30k - $37k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications.
- Develop and enhance internal tools and applications that improve company operations.
- Improve system reliability, application performance, and scalability.
- Maintain existing codebases, conduct code reviews, and implement modern development practices.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Design and implement reusable frontend components and templates when needed.
- Work with designers on UI/UX feasibility and standards and update promotional banners and site-wide templates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on backend and/or full-stack development experience.
- Proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of database design and RDBMS concepts, with experience using SQL.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to create reusable code libraries and write clean, maintainable code.
- High-level written and verbal English proficiency.
- Preferred: proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, plus experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and frontend responsibilities.
