Responsibilities

Develop, test, debug, maintain, and document internal software applications, scripts, utilities, and automation tools.
Build software solutions that automate repetitive tasks and improve business processes.
Work with databases, APIs, files, and other data sources to integrate systems and automate workflows.
Troubleshoot software bugs, identify root causes, and improve existing applications and internal tools.
Research technologies, assist with new software design and development, and use version control.
Provide technical support for computers, software, printers, networks, business applications, and other technology.
Set up and configure computers, user accounts, software, and related equipment.
Diagnose hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues and assist with IT systems administration.
Maintain reliable, secure, organized, and accurately documented IT infrastructure and configurations.
Assist with technology-related projects as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interest and demonstrated ability in computer programming and software development.
Ability to write functional programs independently and troubleshoot existing code.
Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C++, or similar languages.
Understanding of variables, data types, control structures, functions, modular programming, object-oriented programming, data structures, error handling, debugging, file and data handling, basic databases, APIs, and system integrations.
Strong computer troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
General understanding of Windows computers, software installation, networking, and common business IT systems.
Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly, manage multiple assignments, work independently when appropriate, and communicate effectively.
Preferred experience or education includes an associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field, practical programming projects, Python or C#, SQL and relational databases, REST APIs, JSON, Git, Microsoft 365, Windows administration, or Active Directory.
Willingness and ability to complete all applications, background investigations, and other steps required for the government security clearance.
Following a 60-day trial period, continued employment is contingent upon successfully obtaining and maintaining the required government security clearance.
