Responsibilities
- Design and build software that removes manual on-call intervention and recurring sources of toil.
- Lead infrastructure projects end to end.
- Identify and resolve cost-driven latency and reliability trade-offs.
- Build tooling that provides system-health visibility across GCP projects.
- Define SLOs with product teams and improve reliability practices across engineering.
- Pioneer reliability engineering for agent-first production systems.
Requirements
- Demonstrated software engineering fundamentals and strong coding ability, with production code as the primary problem-solving approach.
- Hands-on experience running GCP or a comparable cloud and Kubernetes at production scale.
- Experience with autoscaling and capacity management.
- Experience building tools and automation relied upon by other engineers.
- Ability to independently drive ambiguous, cross-team reliability work from diagnosis through shipped fix.
