Base Salary

$100k - $149k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end solutions spanning Android user space and Linux kernel space.
  • Build software across the Android stack, including frameworks, native daemons/services, and AIDL HALs.
  • Develop Linux kernel drivers and modify kernel code when needed.
  • Collaborate with systems, multimedia, architecture, and other teams on system-level software solutions.
  • Debug software using T32, gdb, Android tombstones, and crash utility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of operating-system fundamentals, data structures, the Linux kernel, and the device-driver model.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, C++ libraries/JNI, and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with the Android Application Framework, Android native daemons/services, and AIDL HALs.
  • Hands-on experience with system programming on a Linux or Unix operating system.
  • Experience with Git, Android Make, Android Tools, Android Studio, and Adb.
  • Knowledge of AI models and familiarity with Python for AI/ML-related software development are preferred.
  • Experience developing Linux kernel drivers and modifying kernel code is preferred.
