Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, document, and troubleshoot Java-based full-stack applications.
- Develop backend services, server-side logic, and high-performance RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Build frontend user interfaces using React, HTML5, and CSS as needed.
- Contribute to architecture, technical standards, software design patterns, and enterprise application development.
- Develop and automate unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Use Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for service orchestration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and Agile/Scrum teams to deliver sprint goals and software solutions.
- Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and propose AI-informed product approaches.
- Perform root-cause analysis, resolve defects and performance issues, and identify and mitigate technical risks.
- Streamline or automate recurring processes across architecture, build, delivery, production operations, and business areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology.
- Minimum of 8 years of proven software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript frameworks such as React, and Oracle.
- Knowledge of modern application architecture, data structures, and object-oriented principles using Java.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven services, cloud-native application development, service-oriented architectures, REST, and GraphQL.
- Full-stack experience developing both frontend and backend components of robust web applications.
- Experience with Java, Python, or similar languages for server-side development.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database systems, particularly Oracle.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools including Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and OpenShift.
- AWS experience is considered a significant advantage.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA.
- Experience developing and automating unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Practical experience with code versioning tools, including GitHub Enterprise.
- Practical experience using AI tools to enhance development workflows and awareness of the evolving AI landscape.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, escalation-management, and risk-management capabilities.
